Hi Stephan,

I just recently discovered that when trying to upgrade the RC debian
installations to the final version, you need to either uninstall the previous
versions or manually force an install since the apt packaging thinks that the
final release is older than the release candidate.
At first I thought I had already the final version installed since I ran
apt-get install, which will say:

:
root@lsmp2[sources.list.d];
apt-get install ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 7 not upgraded.

However, if you look at the installed packages you will see that actually
only an RC is installed:

root@lsmp2[welti];
dpkg -l | grep ps-mdm
ii ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp 1.3.4RC7 The purpose
of and the desired functionality expected from the perfSONAR SSH

this is because the system believes the RC is newer than the final release:

:
root@lsmp2[welti];
dpkg -i ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp_1.3.4_all.deb
dpkg - warning: downgrading ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp from 1.3.4RC7 to 1.3.4.
(Reading database ... 54533 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp 1.3.4RC7 (using
ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp_1.3.4_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp ...
Setting up ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp (1.3.4) ...

That should be considered in the future...
