Hi Nicolas & all,

I've upgraded the SWITCH perfsonar installations to the latest 3.1 beta
versions, and thus the access URLs have changed:

LS:
http://ls.sonar.net.switch.ch:8180/geant2-java-xml-ls/services/LookupService
RRDMA:
http://rrdma.sonar.net.switch.ch:8180/geant2-java-rrd-ma/services/MeasurementArchiveService
TELNETSSHMP:
http://lg.sonar.net.switch.ch:8180/ps-mdm-sshtelnet-mp/services/TelnetSSH

Please update the URLs in your clients/perfsonarUI accordingly.
I seriously hope this is the last time that I had to change those URLs...
Next time the upgrades should still have the same ones :)

Sorry to point out the obvious, but the original idea for having the gLS infrastructure should be to eliminate anyone from having to mail around or otherwise post accessPoint information. For instance all of the RRD/SNMP MA instances that are known to the gLS right now are here:

https://dc211.internet2.edu/cgi-bin/perfAdmin/directory.cgi#SNMP

I think this represents a fraction of what is actually out there right now, and the sooner that services are configured to use a capable LS the sooner we can move away from Nina maintaining a static list and instead using an API to find the data.

Chris: I saw yesterday that your LS has registered into the cloud but I do not see the other two services registered to it, perhaps something is not configured correctly?

If you encounter any difficulties accessing the services, please let me know.

Regards,
Chris
