Hi,

Stijn is experiencing issues on the mdm-3.par debian machine with
Tomcat. Has anybody managed recently to install successfully a service
on it and have tomcat working properly.
This would help us narrowing down the problem.

Thanks,
Nicolas

I tried testing the deb file, but since there is a problem I can't find
with the tomcat, I didn't manage to get it going. However, Roman tried
installing and deploying the deb file on his machine, and it worked
fine. When I have some more time, I'll try to get it going, but I
already tried reinstalling tomcat several times on the
mdm-3.par.fr.geant2.net machine, but nothing helps...

I successfully deployed Tomcat, eXist and MAs on Ubuntu 7.04

Remember that Ubuntu is not the same as Debian, they have different packages (although most are ported from Debian to Ubuntu). I still think there's something wrong with the tomcat package of Debian for our current setup. Maybe Gijs or Roman could comment on this, was Debian 4.0 really tested?

Best regards,
Guilherme
