Previously when the service was installed in the webapps directory
tomcat deploys it automatically, but now it can't find it. Does anybody

scripts in order for it to be deployed when tomcat automatically restarts?

Have you made the symbolic links? If the answer is no, take a look at rpm and deb scripts of AS or SQL MA.
