Hi Prodromos,

Yes, we're still using 1.5 -- at least for compilation.

There are some issues with some operating systems that they don't 
support new Java (no packages, etc.), so we don't want to force our 
users to install the newest Java version in order to run our services.

Personally, I tried to convince other to migrate to java 1.6, but 
actually we (developers) must also think about users... :)
