Should it scare anyone?

Hello all,

The metrics are based upon the information mined from the svn.
It currently scans the trunk. So for example there is no perfsonarui
in the trunk and thus there is no data collected on it. This offcourse
leads to a incomplete picture. Also some projects in the trunk where
moved there from local svn trees. So commit history isn't really accurate
either. I added perfsonar to see how bad ohlol is or isn't. Also it might
get some enthusiasts interested in the project so we could get some outside
feedback. Anyway to remove all this it would basically take one e-mail, they
are pretty quick to respond.

Anyways if you like metrics these are probably more interesting:
http://sonar1.amsterdam.surfnet.nl/hudson/job/Perfsonar_base/perfsonar$perfsonar-base/
http://sonar1.amsterdam.surfnet.nl/hudson/job/SURFnet_java-flowsubscription-MP/perfsonar$flowsubscription-mp/
(you can drill down by clicking on the charts on the right)
The problem is that we have been moving hudson around as we where reinstalling
perfsonar bundles / services and other things.

I should probably add plugins and configure them to add some more useful
metrics
cyclomatic complexity, performance trends useing japex ( see
http://weblogs.java.net/blog/spericas/archive/2006/09/japex_plugin_fo.html and
https://japex.dev.java.net/)
But for the later I need a isolated separate server for the results to be
comparable.

It would for example be nice if we could define some drivers that cover large
requests
/ responses and some other area's where people experience performance related
problems.
Make trend charts and use those to drive optimalisations.

Btw: the funny thing about ohloh is that it actually makes an attempt at
guessing how much
the project would have cost. check the right bottom.

Regards,

Michael
