To everyone involved in 3.0 release,

Release management would like to thank you all for putting in your 
effort and dedication to make this release possible. Without such an 
effort, it wouldn't have been possible to bring about such major changes 
to the large number of products that we have released.

I would like to personally thank the release management team for its 
vital role in co-ordination, testing and documentation. Keeping in mind 
that our development team is completely distributed, co-ordination has 
been very challenging.

Looking ahead, we hope to deliver a report on this process and also note 
that we have started working towards 3.1 release.
