hi Maciej,

Didn't know we already fired away with the a new base, is there a place where
this code
resides? Also for clarity, when we talk about the base does this include nmwg?

Yes, but it wasn't published yet. We have it locally (on PSNC svn).
The new base contains also NMWG.

On a other note: the discussion about incoming (xml-> Object model) is pretty
empty even if
we have to build the whole document anyway stream should still improve memory
footprint.

Yes, I know. But there wasn't good solution to combine all goals:
- make new API similar to old one (to ease developers migration of their code)
- make use of new Axis2 but keep the NMWG classes generic; so separate transport layer (Axis2) from internal representation
- make them faster.

I'm quite interested in the new base.

OK, every help is needed.

Since we are talking about the base two things:

-I still have uncommitted code because of 3.0 release pending; can someone
create a
branch+tag, is this release managements task, or should we do it ourselves?

You can do it by yourself. Just put your own branch into branches directory.

-Can we please use normal mvn install instead of mvn install:install-file the
former creates
a valid pom with dependencies described.

No idea... :)

Best regards
Maciej
