I have started playing with the UI and here is some initial feedback:

1) Bouncy Castle
Publisher: The Legion of Bouncy Castle
No one will use this UI with that type of certificate. Why couldn't a real one be bought?

2) The Help->About makes no mention of Dante, JRA1 or where funding came from
for this work. Only the Java Web start shows that info.

3) The system appears to place 2 files on the Desktop that create unneccesary clutter:
- perfsonar [appears to be some sort of log file]
- ClientSASLCA.jks
These files should be stored elsewhere.
Installing the files at:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javaws\http\Dperfsonar.acad.bg\P80"
Is not a nice way to install apps on Windows. The User should be asked where
they wish for the app to be installed.

4) For the BWCTL why isn't the IUCC BWCTL server listed as well?

5) On a 256MB, 1.2Ghz, Windows 2000 system, Perfsonar takes close to 2
minutes to come up.

6) The fact that step 1 is to copy+paste a traceroute into the "Search by IP
interface" window is non-intuitive. Why not just place a text in the window
stating "copy+paste your traceroute output to this window, replacing this text
and then click search to your right"

7) I have found that many GN2 backbone links have no data such as:

4 so-6-2-0.rt1.gen.ch.geant2.net (62.40.112.21) 67.918 ms 67.908 ms 66.833 ms
5 so-6-0-0.rt1.par.fr.geant2.net (62.40.112.30) 75.651 ms 75.665 ms 75.638 ms
6 renater-gw.rt1.par.fr.geant2.net (62.40.124.70) 77.315 ms 75.707 ms 76.755 ms

5 so-2-0-0.rt1.mil.it.geant2.net (62.40.112.34) 98.975 ms 75.340 ms 75.325 ms
6 62.40.112.173 (62.40.112.173) 105.537 ms 106.574 ms 116.025 ms
7 grnet-gw.rt1.ath.gr.geant2.net (62.40.124.90) 105.457 ms 105.483 ms 105.372 ms

9 swiCS5-10GE-1-3.switch.ch (130.59.15.190) 71.221 ms 72.295 ms 71.214 ms

4 so-6-0-0.rt2.cop.dk.geant2.net (62.40.112.50) 73.840 ms 72.779 ms 73.848 ms
5 nordunet-gw.rt2.cop.dk.geant2.net (62.40.124.46) 72.813 ms 73.872 ms 73.870 ms
6 se-fre.nordu.net (193.10.68.117) 86.428 ms 83.682 ms 83.687 ms
7 se-tug.nordu.net (193.10.252.86) 83.027 ms 84.101 ms 84.082 ms

8) For the following 4 traceroute links:
5 swiCE2-10GE-1-1.switch.ch (62.40.124.22) 68.003 ms 68.025 ms 68.000 ms
6 swiLS2-10GE-1-3.switch.ch (130.59.37.2) 67.848 ms 68.952 ms 68.934 ms
7 swiEZ2-10GE-1-1.switch.ch (130.59.36.206) 71.182 ms 72.247 ms 72.256 ms
8 swiCS3-10GE-1-1.switch.ch (130.59.36.17) 71.363 ms 72.517 ms 72.468 ms

Perfsonar appears to have info for utilization but when clicking any of
them, the blue bar at the bottom just keeps going back and forth
endlessly and doesn't retrieve any data.

9) The default request timeout of 300 seconds is way too long and should
be shortened to probably 30 seconds.
