Hi,

You're right, sorry, I completely overlooked that (I was installing CL-MP as perfsonar-clmp, and not as rnp_java-cl-mp).

From the Debian Policy Manual:

"Package names must consist only of lower case letters (a-z), digits (0-9), plus (+) and minus
(-) signs, and periods (.). They must be at least two characters long and must start with an
alphanumeric character."

We would have to use something like geant2.java-as or geant2-java-as. Loukik, Luis, what do you think?

Hi Guilherme,
I've tried to create the .deb using perfsonar_maker.pl script but it said: 'dpkg-deb: the name of the package has characters that they are not lowercases, alphanumerics or -+.' (well, something like that because the consola was in Spanish).
Have you had the same problem before? In Debian, Cannot we have something like geant2_java-... because it has an underscore?

Regards
