I may need to leave for another meeting soon... So, in case we don't get to pSB before then:
1) perfSONARBUOY is currently in testing. The test URL is at: http:// dc211.internet2.edu:8080/perfSONAR_PS/services/perfSONARBOUY
Please contact and before hitting this URL since we are actively using this site for functional and performance testing and do not want competing requests during our performance testing.
Do you want this information on the test infrastructure page?
2) We have a question on the RPM's. We can create a 'set' of RPM's with dependancies (this way pingER and perfSONARBUOY will have common dependancies). Or, we can create an all-in-one RPM that installs everything in /opt/perfSONARBUOY or something similar. Is there a preference for MDM releases?
3) We do not intend to do authentication for this release. This is an archive of previous results, and there is no 'privacy' concerns as such, so the effort does not seem worth the effort. We intend to see how DFN has handled the AA issues, and perhaps work with them as things go forward to get this working in the future.
4) We are beginning work on the web-admin interface while the service is in testing. We intend to re-use as much of Maxim's web-admin software as possible. (We also intend to look at the DFN solution to see if that is more applicable.)
thanks,
jeff

Hi all,
We were just informed that there will be a major maintenance of our central
NFS and NIS server(s) this afternoon. We doubt that we will be able to join
the conf call. Therefore find below our updates.
Status BWCTL MP (Verena):
- Problem reported by Stijn under investigation, new release candidate (RC4)
will be released soon (today or end of week)
- WebAdmin tool rework: waiting for visuals from Loukik, as soon as I have
these, the WebAdmin tool will be adjusted
A running version of the service would help in general
Status CL-MP functional testing (Jochen):
- Testing ping, owamp and bwctl functionality is finished. The next release
(RC3) should include all fixes for all bugs that were found during testing the
ping functionality.
- During testing the traceroute functionality it became apparent that the
traceroute of the current RedHat release is incompatible with the traceroute
of Debian that was used for developing CL-MP. Guilherme already found the
problem and it should be fixed in RC3
- EchoRequest tests are ok.
- AA support is not yet included in CL-MP. It will be included in RC3.
- I haven't tested LS functionality so far.
Btw: Am I right that I only need to register to a specific LS and check
afterwards whether the service is registered correctly? I remember that there
was some information somewhere about this, but I cannot find it on the Wiki
or in the documents. Can anybody please point me in the right direction?
- I still haven't done anything about the Schedule functionality. At the
moment there are a lot of other issues, e.g. we had severe problems with our
subversion. I hope I can work on it a lot more next week.
greetings,
Verena and Jochen

Hi all.
This email is a reminder of the conf. call that is happening tomorrow,
Thursday 13 March 15:00 CET, 14:00 UTC. The agenda is available at this

We need all the developers that have services included in the MDM perfSONAR
3.0 Bundle to be present and give the Release Team an update on the state
of development and documentation on their services.
Updates on testing, rpm installation and visual configuration will also be
given.
If you cannot be present, please check what is listed on the agenda about
your service, and send the Release Management team an update on your
service developments.
Best regards,
