Hi stijn,

After installation, eXist should be managed using the following URL:
http:<yourhost>:8080/exist/index.xml

And then on the left, search for the Admin link. (which should be 
http://<yourhost>:8080/exist/admin/admin.xql)
However, in order to make sure the link I provide you is the right one, 
please check the tomcat server.xml file.
