Hi Chris,

We have already briefly looked into the issues you reported below. Please
find here our comments:

Regarding the problem with the IPv6 addresses being rejected by the MP:
        - There was a mistake from our side in the pre-configured regular
expression checking for the validity of the supplied IPv6 address. This has
now been corrected and will be available in the 3.0 release. This mistake
must have slipped through our testing. We're very sorry for this.

Regarding the missing basic commands:
        - The complete list of commands agreed on the mailinglist in the
previous weeks will be included and available as pre-configuration in the
3.0 release of the MP. It has not been included in any previous version,
yet. So that's probably the reason why it's not included.

Regarding the wrong parameter:
        - We shall change the regular expression so that it now accepts an
interface naming instead of an ip address.

So, release nr 3.0 should solve the issues you're experiencing below.

Hi all, I've deployed the new SSHTELNET MP from the perfsonar-bundle-2.2
release for the SWITCH network.
All basic commands for the 4 border routers are available.

When using the web start Looking Glass Client from BELNET I discovered that
not everything is running properly..
works:

- show environment
- ipv4 traceroute
- show ip bgp
- ipv4 ping
- show ip route
- show interface statistics


doesn't work
- ipv6 traceroute (malicious parameter detected) (parameter:
2001:620:0:4:20a:95ff:fed0:6070)
- show bgp ipv6 (malicious parameter detected) (parameter:
2001:620:0:4:20a:95ff:fed0:6070)
- show ipv6 route (malicious parameter detected) (parameter:
2001:620:0:4:20a:95ff:fed0:6070)
- traceroute ipv6 (malicious parameter detected) (parameter:
2001:620:0:4:20a:95ff:fed0:6070)
- ping ipv6 (malicious parameter detected) (parameter:
2001:620:0:4:20a:95ff:fed0:6070)
- show interface (malicious parameter detected)(no parameters or e.g. gi1/1)
- show running interface (query obviously wrong: Line has invalid
autocommand "show running interface 130.59.32.51"), (parameter 130.59.32.51)
You should have to indicate an interface, e.g. gi1/1 instead of an ip
number.

What's even worse, some most basic commands seem to be missing, e.g. "show
interface description". How would you know what interface to use for the
other commands above?
