Hi Candido,

Having look at the code, I would say it is not correct to cast to org.apache.axis.Message the output of SOAPUtil.toSOAPMessage(signedDoc), which is defined in org.perfsonar.commons.auxiliary.components.authn.SOAPUtil  as
java.xml.soap.SOAPMessage toSOAPMessage(Document doc)

public Object addX509STInMessage(Object message,PrivateKey privateKey,X509Certificate cert) throws PerfSONARException {
...
            Message signedMsg = (Message) SOAPUtil.toSOAPMessage(signedDoc);
            envelope = signedMsg.getSOAPEnvelope();
...

Is it possible to rewrite the code by avoiding hardcoded casts to apache.axis and using java.xml.soap interfaces where possible?  This will facilitate also investigating axis alternatives in the future.
