Hi Szymon,

the metric data fetch scripts for CNM have the following 
request profile:

for each known RRD/SQL/SNMP MA: 
 in 5-minutes intervals:
   for each known subject (in and out performed separately) 
     direct SetupDataRequest (with meta data) 
       or alternatively 
     MetaDataKeyRequest (results being cached) + indirect SetupDataRequest 
(with key)

The requests for one MA are done subsequentially, 
i.e. with only a single request being performed at a time,
but without much delay in-between them (< 1 sec).

Whether the direct on indirect method of using SetupDataRequest is used
depends on our access configuration for the specific MA 
(reflecting the schema version and experience of potential problems 
when accessing that MA in the past)
