In conjunction with the topology service we are developing, we are 
announcing the availability of a link status service. This service 
allows you to collect and make available L2 status information. You can 
get more information about the service from 
http://wiki.perfsonar.net/jra1-wiki/index.php/Perl_Status_Service . We 
have an instance of the service deployed that's giving the status for 
the link from Washington to Atlanta at 
http://packrat.internet2.edu:5801/perfSONAR_PS/services/status . Some 
example queries are available on the above specified wiki page.

There's an e2emon compatible service available as well (more information 
available at the above wiki page). It can be accessed at 
http://packrat.internet2.edu:5802/perfSONAR_PS/services/circuitstatus . 
It should be able to accept the normal path.status request (with and 
without a time specified).
