Hi,
SQL MA (as trunk but soon as RC) supports two eventType values (old one: 'Path.Status', new one: 'http://ggf.org/ns/nmwg/topology/l2/3.0/link/status') for L2 path status data. This is for smooth transition for JRA4 guys. When we decide the old one is not needed any more I will remove it from the service and keep only the new one which follows agreed naming rules.
Hi all,
Some time ago we agreed to support in SQL MA two types of eventType value: new (URL-based) and for the sake of compatibility old one (Path.Status). This was because of JRA4 request.
Now when this change is quite mature and we are approaching a new major release I think I would be a good opportunity to move to the new version *only*. But of course it depends on JRA4 guys (does anybody else need the old version?). So that's my question to you and release management team whether this change is possible.
Best regards,
