Hi Guilherme,

Thanks for fixing that. There wasn't the requirement on variable names before creating ant scripts, so it was probably difficult to manage all those services (micro releases) and bundle them together.

But as I said, everything worked fine when I was testing it, so I hope copying const.properties somewhere else won't cause problems now?

Hi Maciej,

Yes, I think the service.name variable wasn't a requirement for the installers, but since Roman's base example used it I assumed wrongly that all the Java services followed that, it was my mistake.

What that part of the bundle script does is copy the const.properties file to the webapps directory, so that later on, when the user wants to modify that service, he can use the same const.properties file created during installation (this file could otherwise be overwritted/modified by another installation of the same service somewhere else). So it isn't really necessary for the service itself, it's only used by the bundle script.
