i currently use DNS LOC records to determine the long/lat. if that  
fails then i use geoiptool.com to determine as least the country. so,  
the routers in italy don't have any dns info.. and geoiptool is only  
accurate to the country :( if geoiptool fails, i stick 'em in the  
bermuda triangle :)

i'm hoping to get the topology services to report the long/lats...  
but unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be much data/many services  
out there...
