- I don't see on this page that you executed pre-install step before 
configure
- I see that before deploy step you started the Tomcat manually but in 
deploy step you did it again. If your Tomcat is already running before 
deploy step you should answer 'n' when the script askes you 'Do you want 
me to start the application server Tomcat for you?'
