Maciej, Szymon,
There seems to be a problem with the LS installation on PSNC. I think the eXist database hasn't been started? Could you take a look?
thanks,
Loukik.

Hi Loukik,
I tried to use that webservice again, and now I received this error when I connected to the LS:

Hi Stijn,
LS installation had crashed. Can you try now?

At the moment I'm having trouble querying the LS database.
I'm using the eXist java webstart utility (http://demo.exist-db.org/webstart/exist.jnlp), but once I log in to the address provided (xmldb:exist://loco3.man.poznan.pl:8680/exist/xmlrpc), the application hangs when I click on the button to start querying the DB.
I'll try again later today, but I don't know if it'll work.

Stijn

I guess the latest RC is still registered with the LS?

Hi again,
I just checked and the service registers successfully with the latest LS RC, so that works as it is supposed to.
At the moment the service is still running, so I'll be able to tell you monday if the service provides a continous keep-alive.
regards,
Stijn

Stijn,
I have a few questions:
* Has the service successfully registered with the latest LS RC? A working instance is available here:
http://loco3.man.poznan.pl:8080/LookupService/services/LookupService
* Does the service provide continuous keep-alives/ re-registrations to the lookup service to make sure that the information on the LS doesn't get removed by the LS
Loukik.

Hi,
I just tested the LS registration using soapUI and the eXist GUI, and everything is working, so I believe the BWCTL MP is also ready to go :)

Hello everyone,
The RC5 of BWCTL MP, that is most likely the last one, is available here:
http://wiki.perfsonar.net/jra1-wiki/index.php/BWCTL_and_OWAMP_MP#Software_Download
All bugs Stijn reported should be fixed and the LS registration should be working. You can configure LS registration via MS.conf. At the moment it is configured to registers at http://loco3.man.poznan.pl:8080/LookupService/services/LookupService
as
http://UNKNOWN:8090/services/MP/BWCTL
Of course the "UNKNOWN" should be changed in MS.conf ;-)
Stjin, could you please do the final(?) testing? This version should be equal to the version you have, though. Except for LS registration, of course.
Thank you very much for all the testing!
greetings,
Jochen
