Maciej, this is a very good idea. In fact, this might be the right 
compromise between not maintaining our own repository for such 
dependencies but still being able to our own URL for downloading such 
software from external sites. However, I would like to think about this 
solution before applying it to any/all dependencies that we have to 
download.

Lets talk about this today because we already have a location where such 
scripts could be stored (separate tar repository)
