Hi Andreas,

Nice to here information about you. I will see the structure you said, thank
you. 

Well, first of all, what you need first to do is to create a node.
You can do it by the command:
> create node [IP] [SNMP Community]

Doing this, it is going to lead you in some question, so you are going to
answer to them.

> configure node [IP]
> ipv4 interface discovery

It is going to discover the ipv4 interfaces of the node.

To exit from the level configure you type
> exit

And to exit from the tops-cli type
> exit

In the first level, you can create n nodes you want to include in this
topology database.

After you create all nodes you want to include on it, you can make the links
between the nodes by typing
> generate ipv4 links

To discover the networks of a node:
> configure node [IP]
> ipv4 network discovery

Also you have in each level the help command, to see the type of the
command. And you have the show's command, to see informations. Type help to
see the format of each command.

Hi Murilo,

We have now successfully installed the TopS Collector at the LRZ, after
overcoming some difficulties with the installation. Please check the
directory structure/path variables for the Java command.
However, we have now an empty database and it is therefore not obvious
for us how to proceed. Can you provide instructions for putting seeds in
the database so that the automatic collection can start?

P.S. I have CCed the cNIS list, because this tool is in particular
relevant for the automatic filling of cNIS.
