Hi, Jason
Thanks for the comments on my previous message, especially about the
LSRegister request. I totally missed those points.
For the 're-register' request, as I understand for your comments, you want
to check the LS response to a register message that is exactly the same as a
previous message. Otherwise there is no point in testing a 're-register'
request since the functionality of such request is covered by the keep alive
request and the update request as stated in
DJ1-3-1_Phase_One_Implementation_Report.
As for the use of keys in the de-register , update and keep-alive requests,
I haven't checked how the implementation of the service handles this
requests, but DJ1-3-1_Phase_One_Implementation_Report states that the use of
a key is necessary in order to get a successful result. So in the absence of
a key the service should respond with an error code. Now in my opinion, in
the presence of both a key and data, its up to the implementation to decide
whether to accept the request or not.
Cheers,
Mike
