I spent some time recently helping a new developer who wanted to use 
Eclipse, and I was vaguely following this page:

Because I never use Eclipse, I was really lost to begin with; this 
document could be very helpful but it is getting a bit old.  If any of 
the core developers use Eclipse on a daily basis would it be possible to 
update the procedures a bit (also to cover some of the newer tasks like 
downloading the libraries via the ant targets and web service 
configuration)?  In the end I suggested manual workarounds to him to 
address the things we just could not figure out (mostly dealing with ant).
