Hi all,

speaking from a deployment perspective, it would not be possible for  
us at SLAC to be able to justify having two instances of tomcat (on  
different ports). this stems from our rather strict regulation on  
having web/application servers in general.

in fact, for our local deployment, we would actually have to use our  
main site-wide tomcat server rather than our own personal one due to  
the tight control over the ports and software versions of the said  
servers.

in summary, having perfsonar ma/ls/mp running from a single tomcat  
instance would be a much more viable deployment solution for us.
