Hi Yee,

what version of Ant do you have? Now I have Ant version 1.6.2 and exist 
element inside condition element is accepted (take a look at the error 
message).

You can also init you xml db manually (GUI eXist client) creating 
sqlmaconfig collection (File->Create collection; Owner: sqlmaservice) 
and store (File->Store files/directories) there the metadata 
configuration file (the same owner)
