The actual error must be triggered by something, if the 'conversion to 
DOM' error happens after your return your message find out what part of 
the framework is having the problem.  When calling the simple routines I 
see nothing that would cause a problem with the actual formation of the 
XML, but perhaps there is something internal that I am missing.  The 
developer that originally helped you design this service will more than 
likely be the best place to start if you do not understand how it works.
