One of pScheduler’s features is a sophisticated system for controlling access to testing on your perfSONAR nodes.  This feature is known as the limit system and is used to determine what tasks may be run, by whom and with what parameters.  While the perfSONAR toolkit ships with a reasonably-safe set of defaults, customizing the limit configuration can be used to give greater access to trusted sites and partners and transparently direct certain types of tests onto preferred interfaces.

• Writing a limit configuration
• Diagnostics and debugging of limit configurations

The material in this session is geared toward administrators of perfSONAR nodes but may also be helpful for end users in understanding the diagnostic information provided when tasks are rejected.
