All,

perfSONAR 4.1.1 is now available as a bugfix update. It contains fixes for a few issues encountered by users upgrading to 4.1. The changes are detailed in the release notes here: https://www.perfsonar.net/release-notes/version-4-1-1

Users of auto-updates will get the changes automatically as it propagates to mirrors over the next 48 hours. There are also new ISOs available at http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_getting.html

Also note that we have slightly adjusted the versioning scheme used in comparison to previous releases. Previously we had four version parts (A.B.C.D) and we have condensed down to three (A.B.C). Going forward, we will increase the third number for bugfix updates, the second for new feature updates and the first for landmark changes. We hope this will be clearer for users as to the scope of new releases.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
The perfSONAR Development Team
