2. Questions for presenters? In the chat window, please either enter the question (to be read aloud to the speaker on your behalf) – or – indicate that you have a question (and your full name) so you can be called on.
3. Socializing – the agenda contains breaks every 45-minutes. The breakout rooms are open throughout the day so you can use break times to touch base with each other. See the more details below!

BREAKOUT INFO: The most recent version of Zoom allows participants to move freely into/out of/between breakout rooms. Breakouts are open all day (with several rooms specifically for socializing) but the formal ‘meet the developers’ topic discussions will begin at 12 Noon.

 

To join breakouts, click the 4-square icon at the bottom of your screen to see a list of rooms (and individuals in them); to select a room, hover your cursor over the number on the far right of the room title and click [Join] the room. (If you do not see this icon, please remain in the main room and ask the event host, via chat, to place you in a specific room. Else, you can update your Zoom client to enable this feature.)

 

When leaving breakouts (to rejoin the main room for presentations) be careful to select the BLUE [Leave Room] button at the lower right-corner of the screen.  You are offered the option to a) [Leave Meeting] or b) [Leave Room]. However, if you choose [Leave Meeting], you will need to rejoin with the original connection details above and be re-admitted to the event.
