Internet2, GÉANT, and other key partners are hosting a virtual version of the annual Network Performing Arts Production Workshop (NPAPW). What: Network Performing Arts Production Virtual 2021 Workshop When: 27-28 April, 2021 Registration: https://service5.internet2.edu/reg/events/NWS-0421/registrations Program Agenda: https://internet2.edu/upcoming-events/i2-online/ Sessions are held on Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Tuesday’s sessions begin at 10 a.m. and Wednesday’s sessions begin at 3 p.m. Abstract: The Network Performing Arts Production Workshop (NPAPW) is an annual gathering of technologists, educational administrators, performing artists, and faculty members. The workshop focuses on innovative technologies in the performing arts that utilize advanced networks provisioned by Internet2, GÉANT, and partners across the globe.
This year’s workshop will explore emerging solutions and lessons learned during 2020, including the transition to substantial reliance on home broadband connections. The workshop will be presented in a virtual, condensed format. Following this kick-off gathering, a series of webinars will be offered throughout 2021 focusing on advanced networked technologies enabling master classes, remote auditions, and multisite performances.
