It is a pleasure to announce that the registration for the Network Performing Arts Production Workshop 2017 (3-5 April 2017, Denmark) is now open.

The workshop will take place at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, supported by DeiC. The event is organised by GÉANT and Internet2.

 

The workshop brings together all the main players of this global field - experts and people who have been in the community for many years as well as newcomers. This year the program committee has been working with education as a theme and we are looking forward to welcoming you all in the activities, discussions and networking.

The focus is on demonstrating and discussing how advanced technologies can support real-time musical, dance, artistic performances, auditions and synchronous teaching scenarios. However, like always, the programme will be complemented with multi-site performances and exciting demonstrations of creative use of technology, such as a concert for a rowing machine written and performed especially for this event!
