Since the release of EchoDamp for Macintosh in the fall, several of you have
inquired about the status of EchoDamp for Windows. I am happy to report that
EchoDamp for Windows, as well as an updated version for Macintosh are now
available at
http://echodamp.com. EchoDamp is available free to non-profit
educational institutions for non-commercial use. EchoDamp is not a “magic
bullet” for every conceivable audio scenario, but used properly with the
right audio equipment and configuration, it provides the final link in the
chain for solving the problem of echo in musical videoteleconferences, while
still maintaining full audio-frequency fidelity.
