Hello Everybody:

There was some discussion here a couple of weeks ago regarding an article in 
the Chronicle of Higher Education about my new echo-control program for 
musical videoteleconferences. The article caught me off guard and not quite 
ready to launch, but I am now happy to report that EchoDamp for the Macintosh 
platform is available at http://echodamp.com. The Windows version will be 
available later this fall. EchoDamp is available free to non-profit 
educational institutions for non-commercial use. EchoDamp is not a “magic 
bullet” for every conceivable audio scenario, but used properly with the 
right audio equipment and configuration, it provides the final link in the 
chain for solving the problem of echo in musical videoteleconferences, while 
still maintaining full audio-frequency fidelity.
