I have made another developers release available from the download are of the 
website:

This release fixes all known outstanding bugs and implements version 14 of the 
protocol specification.

As soon as I can get this deployed on the Abilene monitoring hosts and run it 
for a few days, I will be making this the supported version. (For the less 
adventurous, I recommend waiting the few weeks for the supported version to 
change.) Also, I still intend to port this to Solaris for the "supported" version.

One warning: the protocol specification changed in non-backward compatible ways. 
Therefore, this release uses a new port number for the servers control 
connection 4824. Therefore, it is likely people will want to run this in 
parallel with the current 1.6f version.

Improved from release 2.0dev-a:

* Lots of new statistics reported (including statistics formats).
        * TTL
        * Jitter
        * Unit specification
        * Machine readable formats
* Several bugs fixed.
        * Long standing problem with owampd children not exiting properly 
fixed
                (race condition on the closing of the socket fixed)
        * Memory leaks found with the help of OS X memory library
* OS X support
* NTP requirement removed (NTP is still preferred).

** I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting off the top of my head, but I have 
Christmas shopping to do!
