Hi all!
"Get Started with Network Automation", a co-instructed workshop, was offered at I2 Community Exchange earlier this month. We'd like to share the materials used at the workshop to the community.
While the repository is not a complete workshop on its own, the community may find the slides, information, example exercises, and Python and Ansible code useful to look at.
You can find a link to the workshop repository from our NTAC Network Automation Github here: https://github.com/Internet2/ntac-networkautomation/blob/master/Resources/training.md#internet2-workshop-materials
By the end of next week, I am aiming to commit an additional file to the workshop repository that gives a high-level technical explanation of how we created the lab environment that participants used. Internet2 provided 30 labs containing an emulated Ubuntu
instance, 2 Cisco devices (IOSXR), and 1 Juniper device for this workshop. Many of the assets used to create the labs are already in the repository, but this additional context is coming for any curious minds.
Lastly, heartfelt thank you's to our co-instructors for this workshop, Maria Isabel Gandia (CSUC & GÉANT) and AJ Ragusa (GlobalNOC @
IU), whose materials are also included in the repository above.
Thanks all,
