Third National Research Platform Workshop

Minneapolis, Minnesota September 24-25, 2019

 

 

The (tentative) agenda has been posted for the Third National Research Platform (NRP) Workshop.

 

Please register soon and book your hotel room before space runs out.   

 

Building on the success of last year’s Second National Research Platform Workshop, the Third NRP Workshop will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 24-25, 2019 at the Renaissance Downtown Minneapolis – The Depot.

 

This year’s workshop includes the following guiding principles:

• Enabling Research and Education for all (independent of institution type or geography)
• Share successes, opportunities, and challenges
• Community of people spanning the boundaries of organizations, communities, and technology
• Outline challenges and opportunities and steps to address them
• Big Tent concept of National Research Platform that encourages participation from every component of the Cyberinfrastructure ecosystem.  

 

The NRP workshop will be co-located with the NSF PI workshop (9/23-9/25) and the Quilt meeting (9/25-9/26) with some shared sessions. A Global Research Platform (GRP) Workshop will be held the week prior to the NRP workshop and it will focus on international Research Platform topics.  

 

Information about the Third NRP Workshop, hotel/travel information and the co-located events can be found here.  Plan to reserve your accommodations as soon as possible as lodging options that week will be limited in the downtown Minneapolis area due to other citywide events.
