Hi,
During yesterday’s community architects’ workshop, Steve Wallace mentioned two upcoming webinars. Dates and a few details are provided below. More information will be sent as it becomes available. Steve is copied here if you have questions about either of the upcoming webinars. Thanks.

1. Merit’s IRR & RADb how-to
August 21st at 11am (ET)

2. Indiana University & Internet2’s RPKI Webinar/Workshop
Webinar July 26th 10am (ET)
Workshop September 4th 10am (ET)
To better protect your part of the Internet, please sign up here to attend the following webinar and workshop:

[The webinar and workshop will be recorded and made available]
To increase the diffusion of RPKI use among the Internet2 community, so that we’re better protected from route hijacking, IU, ARIN, Internet2, and Merit (RADB), will be conducting a short RPKI webinar 10am (ET) July 26th and a follow-up remote workshop September 4th 10am-12:30 (ET).

The July 26th webinar will describe RPKI’s purposes, its prerequisites, and some background information concerning Merit’s RADB. The goal of the webinar is to equip attendees to better prepare for the follow-on workshop, where they will be able to implement RPKI by creating their own ROAs.
The September 4th workshop will be hands-on creation of ROAs.

If you plan to attend either the webinar and/or workshop, please register. The information collected during the registration (very short, as it only asks four questions) will be used to understand better the range of readiness that should be addressed during the events.

More details to follow.
