Hi All,
We are looking forward to seeing you this week (Tuesday and Wednesday) in Minneapolis for the Community Architects’ Workshop. The meeting will be held in the Pinnacle Ballroom at the Graduate Hotel.

-Note that breakfast is on your own
-Registration will open at 7:30 in the Pinnacle Foyer
-The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. CT tomorrow in the Pinnacle Ballroom
-We will have coffee, tea and water available

Goals for the meeting:

Meeting participants and collaborators will:

• Revisit why we are talking about community infrastructure upgrades:

•Supporting Research, Cloud, Automation, Ecosystme and Efficiency opportunities

• Learn about NGI progress, including

• New and changed services enabled by new infrastructure

• Roadmap and plans for optical upgrade and refresh

• Provide input into the packet architecture

• Understand what platform enables with respect to cloud, interconnect/peering and R & E networking

• Debate and advance protocol and service implementation ideas

• Debate and advance topology, resiliency, and capacity planning

• Provide feedback on packet and automation roadmaps

• Advance the community discussion on end-to-end services and infrastructure sharing
