On the July 12th call, we promised that there would be a webinar introducing the community to MANRS. We have scheduled that for Thursday, August 23, 2018, noon-1:00 ET.

Here is some information about the contents of the webinar: 

Embedded security is one of the goals of Internet2's Next Generation Infrastructure. A global initiative that began in 2014, Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS), takes one step toward preventing network attacks by taking on security as a shared responsibility between networks. 77 network operators and 20 IXPs currently participate. This webinar gives a brief overview of risks to network routing within the R&E community and some examples of the impact of even a small, malicious routing announcement. We then talk about the four easy to implement activities that comprise MANRS. The webinar will not be overly technical, but we will have technical resources on hand to answer your questions.
