They sound fairly well grounded and shuold provide best bang for the buck. I got to thinking, and wondered if I2 could help develop a wider implementation of flowspec in cooperation with UTRS, that would provide the more granular wide ranged filtering to best target DDOS flows. If we could just send out a community based filter to target the bad traffic, it would save a lot of resources without terminating the ip destination.
