Hi Rick,

I've had NDT set up with a Myricom (http://www.myri.com/Myri-10G/10gbe_solutions.html ) 10 GigE NIC since 2008, and it has not had any problems that I am aware of. It doesn't get a lot of > 1 GE hits, but the same NIC/box/OS has done bwctl tests to the mainland at rates above 7 Gbps. Of course, I'm way behind on NDT updates, but the NDT in question is at:

I know that Myri is a popular, well-tested brand. There are probably others. Have a look at http://fasterdata.es.net/.
