Hi Claudio;
OK, looking at the web100-pcap.c source code I see that at debug level 1, or above, a ""Opening network interface '%s' for packet-pair timing", device" message should be printed on the console. The 'device' should be the name of the network interface (eth0, lo, ...). The code is suppose to automatically detect the 1st network interface, and also automatically detect the loopback interface, but you can force it to a specific interface if that fails.
So
1) look for this message and see what interface is being selected.
2) run the netstat command to see what interface should be used
3) add the "-i device" option to the web100srv command line to select a different interface (web100srv -a -ieth1) would monitor the eth1 network interface.
Let me know it that helps
Rich

Hi Rich,
This is the output of ps:
root 20883 0.0 0.3 2000 768 pts/2 S 10:13 0:00 /usr/local/sbin/web100srv -a -ddddddd
root 20891 0.0 0.2 1484 528 pts/2 S 10:13 0:00 /usr/local/sbin/fakewww -l /var/log/fakewww.log
As you see, even web100srv an fakewww are running as root and the debug level is setting to max level detail. The log file of web100srv is successfully created in default directory (/usr/local/ndt). This is the log:

About checking middleboxes i think it's probably an internal problem on my network, but for link type i don't really know what to do,
Thanks in advance,
Regards
Claudio
