Hi, Zoriel,

As Rich suggested, if all you are interested in is looking at the congesion window when the application is running it is probably best to use the GUI tools provided with the distribution.

The watchsender is an supported program that we wrote to write all the web100 variables to a log file from a live TCP connection as well as to review those variables later on from the log file. If you need this capability to log the data please let me know and I will be happy to provide a pointer to the code. The one downside is that I have not worked on it for a while ...

Thanks,

| The WatchSender tool is an old part of the web100 toolkit. I think it
| was designed to read data from a snaplog file instead of reading

|
| If you have the web100 user library installed then you can use the
| standard gutil (GUI tool) or the readvar or deltavar command line tool.
| The gutil tool brings up a X window that lets you select and view/graph
| different variables. The readvar/deltavar tools run in a login screen
| and write data to the screen. There are man pages for all of these tools.
