27, issue 29, issue 30, issue 31, and issue 34.  Synopsis:

Local testing on a very controlled environment (network, servers, host  
settings) shows that the
heuristics in many of the algorithms are not accurate.  In general:

 - MSS calculation
 - Buffer sizes
 - Detection of the environment (link speed)
