Internet2 is announcing the release of the NPToolkit v1.8 ISO image.  This 
image is available from the 
http://e2epi.internet2.edu/network-performance-toolkit.html web 
page.  Internet2 staff can also mail you a pre-burned CDROM if you prefer.

The NPToolkit (Network Performance Toolkit) is a simple way to deploy 
network performance tools.  It is a Knoppix based Live-CD image that runs a 
Linux 2.6.20-web100 enhanced kernel.  It also automatically starts the 
BWCTL, NDT, PSC's NPAD, OWAMP, and SLAC's reverse traceroute 
servers.  These tools provide a comprehensive set of performance tools that 
can enhance your ability to quickly find and fix network performance problems.
