Internet2 is pleased to announce the release of Grouper version 2.2.2. 

Grouper is an enterprise access management system designed for the highly distributed management environment and heterogeneous information technology environment common to universities. The Grouper v2.2.2. release is a minor release that fixes 56 issues from 2.2.1, 47 of which are included in 2.2.1 patches.

Some notable changes in Grouper v2.2.2:

 

·         Readonly and viewonly admin groups (admin level can view Grouper or see memberships but not edit)

·         Grouper loader failsafe threshold (do not accidentally remove too many members)

·         Rename include/exclude affects all groups

·         Add composite details to membership list (on UI)

·         Startup checks for Java version and UTF-8 abilities

·         Refresh loader group from UI (button)

·         New hooks (unique objects names, privilege inheritance)

·         Move and copy from WS

·         Auto-create user folders

·         Patch creator in grouperInstaller
