The Technology Exchange is hosted by Case Western Reserve University in partnership with OARnet and
the Ohio Valley Internet2 Consortium with local support from OneCommunity.
Here are a few of the conference elements to peak your interest:
- One highlight of TechEX14 was the range of community-developed demonstrations; if you have a project you would like to display for discussion and community feedback,
please submit details here. We will get back to you within 2 weeks to determine if we can support your entry. Thank you for sharing!
- In the Advanced Networking Track, which will be Netcast all day on Tuesday, Inder Monga from ESnet will
present on "Network Operating Systems and Intent APIs for SDN Applications;”
- The Trust and Identity track features the ACAMP unconference for working on issues important to the community, and the traditional CAMP with two tracks (CAMP 101 and CAMP 201), bringing you the latest-and-greatest from
IAM practitioners;
- Larry Peterson from Princeton University presents "Cloud Infrastructure in Support of Big Data Research” as a featured talk in the
Research Track;
- In the Cloud Track, a team from Bowling Green State University will present "Converting to a Commercial Data Center While Implementing a Software Defined Network;”
- James Harr from the University of Nebraska at Omaha will present "High Volume Logging Using Open Source Software” in the
Security Track;
- An evening reception at Cleveland’s
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame;
- Daily programmed Exchange sessions with high-level lightning talks to spark conversations;
- Pre-TechEX
programming on Sunday, October 4 includes REFEDS, NetCoder BoF and tutorials and Thursday, October 8 (post-TechEX
programming) events include NetGurus, a perfSONAR developers team gathering, and a security workshop design meeting, among others.
