InCommon Certificate Service: Three Case Studies
The July IAM Online will present three case studies on the InCommon Certificate Service. Speakers from three different institutions will discuss their experiences with the service and the types of certificates they use.
The new program manager for the service, Paul Caskey, will also provide an overview of the current state of the service and plans for the future.
The InCommon Certificate Service is a community-operated service formed in 2011 to provide unlimited certificates for all domains owned by a campus for one annual fee with central and delegated management. The service includes SSL, extended validation (“green bar”), client (also called “personal”), code signing, and other types of certificates.
